Speaking on the sidelines of the aborted presidential running mates debate, Miguna said it was pretentious and unfortunate for the Nasa's running mate to snub such a glorious and noble opportunity."When Kalonzo ceased being the vice president he didn't even know how much it costs to fuel a car because he had been cruising on public funds. He became a minister in his 30 and therefore thinks he was born one," he said.Kalonzo and his Jubilee counterpart William Ruto staged a no show for the much-hyped showdown between the duo to the chagrin of the organizers and Kenyans.Earlier in the day only one running mate out of six showed up for the first edition of the debate and went was successfully interviewed for 90 minutes.Muthiora Kariara who deputizes independent cabdidate Kavinga Kaluyu was the only guest for the show which was staged at the Catholic University in Nairobi.According to Miguna, tge deputies had shown Kenyans the middle finger for snubbing the debate and asked voters to respond in kind on the August 8.
