IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe’s resignation has taken to social media where two vocal analysts have clashed. The row begun after controversial political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi tweeted that Akombe’s resignation allegedly amounted to a coup.Ngunyi argued that her move was a continuation of the Supreme Court ruling that nullified the presidential results.“Akombe is part of the MARAGA coup. It is happening in slow motion in front of our own eyes,” Ngunyi said. The tweet, however, did not go well with fierce city lawyer Dr Miguna Miguna who fired ba salvo at Ngunyi over his comments.“Mr @MutahiNgunyi go to the University of Nairobi and see if you can borrow a functioning brain,” the lawyer wrote.Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris also criticised Ngunyi over his biased analysis.Passaris‏ wrote: “You call it a coup when it favours the stance of opposition. What would you call it when it favours Jubilee?”
