National Resistance Movement Self-declared general Miguna Miguna has come out and condemned the highly publicised visit to Homa Bay County by MP Moses Kuria.
Dr Miguna who was last month deported to Canada, described Moses Kuria as unrepentant serial ethnic chauvinist and hate monger whose invitation was wrong and should not have happened at all.
The controversial lawyer further castigated both Rangwe MP Lilian Gogo and Homa Bay Woman Rep Gladys Wanga for not being honest and trustworthy terming them as desperate hypocrites.
"The real problem with according a virulent and an unrepentant serial ethnic chauvinist and hate monger like Moses Kuria such wrong-headed courtesy is that it makes him far worse and exposes the one extending the red carpet as a desperate hypocrite," Miguna posted on his Twitter handle.
Mr Kuria, however, said that it was now time to preach peace and national unity after both President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga set an example through their now famous handshake.
He also revealed what he discussed with NASA leader Raila Odinga when he paid him a courtesy call in his office and that all leaders should helped in reconciliation process.
“When I visited Mr Odinga in his office, he told me that the handshake is useless unless we devolve it to Kenyans,” he said.
“I agreed with Mr Odinga that leaders from all parts of the country should begin to promote reconciliation in the country after the handshake,” he added.
Mr Kuria while devolving the handshake, extended an invitation to all NASA leaders to visit Jubilee stronghold in the coming days.
“This is the first day I am devolving the handshake. I want to invite your leaders to visit Rift Valley and Central Kenya because this handshake is for all Kenyans,” said Mr Kuria.
