The self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Dr. Miguna Miguna has sent a message to his supporters over his return to the country.
Through his twitter account, the outspoken lawyer told Kenyans to stop asking when he will return back to Kenya saying that he did not travel at his own will.
Miguna asked Kenyan to demand his return from the Jubilee government who, according to him, forcefully ejected him from the country through sedation after destroying his Kenyan passport.
“An appeal to Kenyan patriots. Stop asking when I will ‘return’ or ‘come back’ as if I traveled out of Kenya, I did not. Demand my return from tyrants who destroyed my passport, house and abducted, detained, tortured, sedated and forcefully removed me from Kenya,” posted Dr. Miguna on Monday.
However, Miguna assured Kenyans on his strong stand on defending principles of democracy, electoral Justice, social justice, and respect of the rule of law and the Kenyan constitution.
"I defended and I will continue defending the principles of democracy, electoral justice, social justice, constitutionalism and rule of law," said Miguna.
This comes after he nominated by Nairobi governor Mike Sonko to deputize him and later barred permanently from traveling to Kenya.
