Lawyer Miguna Miguna has sent out invites in regards to National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga's swearing-in ceremony to be held at Uhuru Park on January 30.
Referring to himself as the NASA's National Resistance Movement (NRM) general in charge of operations, Miguna extended the invite to the Nairobi Business Community, an unnamed church and all Kenyans for the event.
"RE: SWEARING-IN of The People's President, H.E. Raila Odinga, the Commander In Chief of Kenya Defence Forces and # NRM: It's my privilege, as the #NRM General in charge of Operations, to welcome the Nairobi Business Community, the un-named Church and all Kenyans to the swearing-in ceremony on January 30th at Uhuru Park, Nairobi," Miguna posted on his Facebook page on Monday.
The invites by Miguna come amid confusions on who gets to use Uhuru Park after a church and the Nairobi Business Community came out and expressed that they have already booked the same venue to hold their separate events.
Talking to Nairobi News, the chair of Nairobi Business Community Wilfred Kamau reiterated they have plans on holding a free medical camp at Uhuru Park on the same day Raila is supposed to be sworn-in.
The free medical camp targets street boys who wish to get circumcised.
