The self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna has claimed that he has received death threats.
Miguna through his Twitter page on Tuesday purported that the death threats came from President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
The former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate, however, noted that he is not afraid of any threats.
"Another death threat from the despotic duo -@UKenyatta and @WilliamsRuto . I'm unbowed, unmoved and remain fearless!" tweeted Miguna.
Miguna was recently deported to Canada by the Kenyan government for participating in the controversial swearing-in of NASA leader Raila Odinga as the 'people's president.
The swearing-in in took place on January 30, 2018, at the historic Uhuru Park grounds in Nairobi.
The general has however vowed to come back to Kenya on March 26, 2018, during his global to tour to popularise NRM, a movement that was outlawed by the government.
Miguna has been a strong critic of Uhuru and his Jubilee government since the August 8 general election.
