Miguna Miguna has thanked National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga, lawyers and other opposition politicians for their support since he was arrested and ‘deported’ to Canada.

Miguna who was at the forefront in preparations for the swearing in of Odinga as the people’s president on January 30 said he was still committed to the course of liberating Kenya.

In a series of tweets, the outspoken lawyer also hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, saying “they must fall within two months”.

The former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate thanked his wife, children, and the National Resistance Movement (NRM) members for supporting him during his detention.

Miguna tweeted on Saturday evening.

The self-declared NRM 'general' urged NRM supporters to remain focused and committed to the cause by NASA.

“A special message to #NRM members, patriots, and friends of Kenya: I'm alive, strong, and fully committed to the cause. Remain focused, disciplined and alert. We are unveiling #NRM branches and CELLS all over Kenya and the world. The DESPOTS must fall within 2 months! Viva” Miguna said.

Miguna was forced into a KLM flight to Canada via Amsterdam by government officials after being arraigned and charged in a Kajiado court with treason, for administering the oath taken by Odinga.
