In a tweet Monday, the vocal lawyer accused leaders of veering off the integrity lane, resulting to the stagnation of political and developmental improvement.

Miguna who has lately been pushing for the exit of the ruling Jubilee government accusing both President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of poor leadership qualities and questionable character noted that the nation is set to continue languishing in its current problems as the leaders in power do not possess the quality.

The firebrand and controversial barrister who unsuccessfully vied for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat in the concluded general elections further bashed the current holder of the position Governor Mike Mbuvi, classifying him in the group, citing his long list of yet-to-be fulfilled campaign promises and past legal issues.

''As I have explained to Kenyans consistently, the solution to the leadership crisis is integrity. Integrity is the software of leadership without which a leader is nothing but a wild beast with power,'' he said.

''A good example is Nairobi which is under a convicted criminal,'' he added.

He is of the opinion that good leadership will begin with the exit of the Uhuruto duo from power.
