Former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant and political analyst Miguna Miguna has downplayed Thursday's repeat presidential eletion terming it as a shambolic exercise.Speaking on NTV Thursday,Miguna pointed out at IEBC's inclusion of NASA leader Raila Odinga's name in the ballot, despite earlier withdrawal, and the low turn out and complete boycott in some parts of the nation. He termed these as reasons enough to render the exercise illegal and invalid."IEBC went ahead to include Raila Odinga's name in the ballot paper despite his withdrawal to make it look like President Uhuru Kenyatta is winning. Additionally, the boycott and low turn out shows that the exercise was not nationally accepted and was just a choreographed scheme to ensure that Jubilee remains in power no matter what," he said.He maintained that the election result will again be challenged in court and annulled due to the poll agency's inability to conduct the fresh poll according to Supreme Court's earlier directive. "The Supreme Court ordered that the election be credible but IEBC has done the complete opposite of that. This was a shambolic election and even worse than the earlier one and the results are again going to be annulled by the court should NASA challenge them," said Miguna.
