Siaya Senator James Orendo has disclosed details on how National Resistance Movement self-proclaimed general Miguna Miguna will benefit from the Uhuru, Raila pact.
James Orengo was speaking in a interview with Citizen Tv on Tuesday.
Mr.Orengo divulged that Miguna, who was deported to Canada under controversial circumstances,will be returning back to Kenya as part of the deal made.The Senior Counsel claimed that Miguna’s return was among the conditions set for President Kenyatta and the former Prime Minister to work together.
"Miguna’s return is part of the conditions ofthe Uhuru-Raila deal. In fact, on Friday I am going to see the Kenya National HumanRights Commission (KNHRC) because they were directed by the court to make sure thatf acilities are created for Miguna’s entry intothe country," he said.
The newly elected Senate Minority leader noted that the Opposition is firmly behind Mr. Miguna and was fighting legal battle to make sure hereturns.Raila swearing-in the Canadian-based lawyer was deported to Canada after taking part in the controversial swearing-in of Mr. Odinga as the People's President on January 30.
The NASA leader resolved to take the oath of office in a bid to push President Kenyatta-led Government to hold talks with the Opposition over the much-disputed General Election.
