Despite numerous court orders to have him surrendered to court the government has defiantly insisted that Miguna is an alien following confiscation of his Kenyan passport.

"In fact, he obtained his passport fraudulently and I have surrendered the file for verification. He was undocumented passenger," said Fred Matiang'i, during an interrogation with parliamentary security committee.

With his hope diminished, the Canadian based lawyer was forced to return to Toronto after a botched attempt to make entry to Kenya after his previous deportation.

And in an interview on Wednesday with TRT World Newsmakers segment, a defiant Miguna insisted that he is not yet done with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his 'authoritarian regime'.

"Martin Luther, Nelson Mandela and many others went to jail and hey never gave up. No matter how brutal they are, oppressors always lose. I will be back to Kenya for liberation," he said.

"Uhuru will go down and that is a guarantee, we shall win this war and there is no doubt about it," he said.

It is now clear how he will make it back to the country without a Kenyan passport following confiscation by government.
