Opposition activist Miguna Miguna has branded President Uhuru Kenyatta a drunk and a smoker.
In a tweet Friday, Miguna claimed that the head of state who arrived in Canada on Wednesday, for this year's G7 Summit, has been going all over the city of Quebec, in what he termed as 'tangatangaring'.
"The illegitimate despot, Uhuru Kenyatta, is 'tangatangaring' in Quebec City in the province of Quebec," he said
With the President reportedly set for deliberations with Canadian Premier Justin Trudeau after the summit scheduled for Friday and Saturday, on a set of issues including agriculture and technology, Miguna rubbished the report as a lie.
He claimed that no discussions have been set between the two and instead of the agriculture, technology and education deliberations allegedly set to be handled in the meeting, the President will be busy drinking and smoking.
"He will be smoking and swishing whiskey 24/7. There are no trade, agriculture, technology or health discussions scheduled between him with Justin Trudeau," he claimed.
Though the President once drank liquor publicly during the groundbreaking of the East African Breweries Limited (EABL) state of the art brewery in Kisumu in July 2017, he has never been pictured smoking publicly.
Uhuru's attendance follows an invitation by Trudeau when they met during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in London, United Kingdom, earlier this year.
