In a tweet on Saturday, the controversial lawyer maintained that the NRM must achieve its push for the ouster of government officials stealing and misappropriating public funds and replace them with accountable officials.

He stressed on the need for the country to do away with state bosses abusing power and exploiting the people, saying that the bloc will preside over their exit and replace them with others who will help the nation realise its dream of rule of law and social justice.

"The NRM manifesto in one tweet: Defeat and remove from power the unaccountable elites stealing from people, exploiting the people and abusing power then create a merit-based society governed by the rule of law in pursuit of social justice," said Miguna.

Miguna has been pushing for changes in the nation following the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led Jubilee government's re-election in the August 8 and October 26 repeat polls.

He has since refused to acknowledge both Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto's leadership, accusing them of having interfered with the poll results to retain their positions.

Miguna has on several occasions termed the duo as despots who cannot be trusted with the nation's leadership.
