Nairobi governor aspirant Miguna Miguna has launched a scathing attack on Governor Hassan Joho for disrespecting President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto during their tour of the Coast region.

Speaking during an interview at Radio Maisha on Tuesday, Miguna, a renowned columnist, said Joho is to blame for his misfortunes.

The outspoken leader said Joho is wrong to confront national leaders in public, adding that it clearly shows he does not respect the Presidency. His remarks come after Joho was barred from attending the relaunch of Mtongwe Ferry on Monday. Miguna Miguna also said that Joho's way of relating with the Presidency is not only unacceptable in Kenya but also the entire world."There is nowhere in the world that the Presidency is disrespected that much to the extent of addressing a Head of State only by name and the governor being a leader should respect the Presidency,” said Miguna, as quoted by Standard.Jubilee leaders also faulted Joho for frustrating President Kenyatta whenever he tours the region. On their part, opposition leaders have called upon the President to listen to governor's grievances instead of attacking them whenever they raise concerns over different issues.
