Controversial Lawyer and Jubilee fierce critic Miguna Miguna. He has castigated Deputy President William Ruto badly for his continued opposition to 'nusu-mkate' government. [Photo: tuko.co.ke]Deputy President William Ruto thinks he is the best thing that came to the world after the Grand Coalition government folded up at the end of its term in March 2013.Nairobi gubernatorial seat loser and fierce Jubilee critic, Miguna Miguna has said that Ruto 'talks, walks like a peacock' whenever he speaks on the impossibility of having a 'nusu-mkate' government."Ruto has even influenced Uhuru into becoming a despot because he can't just figure out how Jubilee can share power with anyone. You might think he's the best thing to ever come out from a grand-coalition arrangement in this world, such that nobody should ever talk of sharing power," Miguna told KTN's Checkpoint news program on Sunday.Miguna, who was Raila Odinga's coalition affairs adviser during the same grand-coalition government before he was dismissed unceremoniously, also reiterated NASA's position that the country is in a 'political and constitutional crisis'."There will be no election on 26th October. It will be a coronation of rituals because IEBC is no longer an independent institution. It is nothing but an extension of Jubilee regime. That is why they even put the election on Uhuru's birthday so that the compromised process can be a birtday gift to him," added Miguna. However, Lawyer and Political analyst Charles Kanjama told off Miguna saying the Supreme court ruled that elections must be conducted within 60 days."Miguna and others who think that the October 26 election will be illegal should just go to the Supreme Court and seek legal interpretations of the same. The Supreme Court, on the other hand, should give an authoritative opinion should it think that the October 26 poll will not be accordance with the law," Kanjama said.
