National Resistance Movement (NRM) self-declared general Miguna Miguna has sent a message to his supporters ahead of his return to the country following his deportation to Canada.
In a tweet on Friday, Miguna who is expected back in the country on March 26, 2018, noted that NRM will not betray the supporters who believe in its cause.The vocal lawyer who differed with opposition chief Raila Odinga following his pact with President Uhuru Kenyatta said the NRM will not give up on its struggle to liberate the country."...the message is this: There will be no surrender; no reverse gear; and no betrayal in the STRUGGLE FOR LIBERATION. We must march on to victory. Tens of millions of youth are on our side. God, Truth, and Justice, too, are on our side. MARCH 26TH! Viva!" read Miguna's tweet.Miguna recently hit out at Raila over the peace deal made with President Uhuru Kenyatta, accusing the NASA leader of betrayal.“Some of the “leaders” who have stood for positive, transformative change have suddenly and inexplicably abandoned us. They didn’t bother even to consult us. They didn’t care about our fresh wounds and the dead. Those who claimed to be fighting for us - the people of Kenya - have joined the Merchants of Impunity. They have fortified the enemies of the people and tried to weaken us,” wrote Miguna in a recent Facebook post.
