Renowned and straight-shooting lawyer Miguna Miguna has responded to the police after they issued stern warnings to the opposition against accessing Uhuru Park for their planned swearing-in.
Appearing on an early morning television program, the self-described NASA general maintained that the swearing-in would proceed as planned and no amount of force would stop it.He argued that NASA had the benefit of numbers and the police could not stop them.''The swearing-in will proceed as planned. It will go on even with the police saying that they will block us. That is a joke. Will the police stop a million people? No, they can't stop us,'' the fire-brand socio-political commentator said.Miguna vowed to ensure that Raila Odinga is sworn-in this time around at all costs unlike in 2007 when he tried and failed.Police have warned the NASA brigade against invading Uhuru Park on January 30 for their swearing-in ceremony as the ceremony is illegal.
