Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) leader Miguna Miguna is not the right person to deputise Governor Mike Sonko, Ngara MCA Chege Mwaura has said.
According to Mwaura, Miguna does not have the qualities to help Sonko achieve his agenda.
He also said that the Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) have consulted each other and they feel he is not the right candidate for the post.
"We honestly do not feel that Miguna is a source of stability. We have consulted amongst ourselves as the members of the vetting committee and it is our considered opinion that Miguna cannot be the person to help him achieve all the goals of Nairobi," he said.
Nairobi County Assembly will resume business tomorrow to discuss the nomination of the deported lawyer.
The nomination has continued to elicit mixed reactions from different factions with the county boss however maintaining that Miguna was the right person to help him fight cartels.
