Former Nairobi governor aspirant Miguna Miguna has made official his joining the NASA-led resistance movement and hinted of his rank.

Speaking at Capitol Hill in Nairobi, the outspoken lawyer said he identified with the National Resistance Movement (NRM) agenda and added that President Uhuru Kenyatta did not fairly win the October 26 repeat presidential election.

“The exercise on October 26 was not an election it was a selection. Uhuru did not win the elections,” Miguna said.

Miguna on Friday took to twitter to announce his decision and said he had been mandated to be in charge of the movement's operations."ANNOUNCEMENT: I've enlisted with the #NRM at the rank of GENERAL in charge of operations! We must win! #DemocracyNotDictatorship! #Resist," he said

Together with Siaya senator James Orengo, Miguna said they will not relent in their fight to have Kenyans boycott specific products and services from companies and corporates said to have supported Jubilee in the last election.

“We are glad to announce that we officially launched the NRM and we will continue telling Kenyans to boycott Bidco, Safaricom and Brookside products,” Orengo said.
