Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna has stood his ground that he will not concede the outcome of the August 8 polls because his conscience does not allow him to do so.
Speaking during NTV's SideBar show on Wednesday, the outspoken leader said he would not hearken to voices that are keen to see him do the same just because the Iebc did not pronounce him as the winner.
"I don't have to concede because the results are not called by candidates, the results are called out by the electoral commission and if you don't challenge those results it is assumed that you have accepted them.So why should somebody say Miguna stand up and concede, that is silly,I will not do it!", he said.
Miguna added that he does not recognize the victory of governor elect Mike Sonko since Sonko is a convicted criminal who lacks the integrity to lead.
"Mike Sonko is a a drug dealer who has been convicted on the same.just because he has the numbers does not make him a qualified leader and therefore I do not recognize him," he said.
