Four supporters of Nairobi gubernatorial nominee Mike Sonko were on Wednesday electrocuted along Haile Selassie Avenue.

The four were later hospitalized following the incident that occurred during a campaign rally.

They were on the roof of a lorry when they came into contact with live electricity cables.

They were rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital after faling off the lorry.

A 14­year­old boy was among the injured.

 The others are Peterson Juma, 30, Robert Mutia, 18, and a fourth victim who was not immediately identified. '

The convoy was accompanied by  Deputy President William Ruto, National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale and Jubilee Nairobi senatorial nominee Johnson Sakaja.
