Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi alias Sonko, Saumu has delivered a bouncing baby girl.
Though Saumu has not spoken about her newly born daughter, Kenyans on Twitter and other social media platforms are already showering her with congratulatory messages.
The news about the birth of the child was shared by her ex boyfriend and baby daddy Benson Gatu.
Gatu took to social media and posted: "To my baby girl, before you even entered the world, you were anticipated, loved, cherished, and wanted. Now that I can hold you in my arms, those feelings have multiplied tenfold. I look at you with complete wonder, melt with each coo you make, and fall deeper in love when you rest your tiny head on my hands,” he said as quoted by a local daily.
He added: "You are actually ours - our perfect gift from God — a precious life whom He has trusted to our care. May the Almighty give us the wisdom to bring you up to be a God fearing daughter with favour before both God and people."
This birth of Sonko’s grandchild comes after Saumu came out lamenting about the infidelity of her boyfriend but this did not deter Benson from celebrating his new born.
