Fellow Nairobians and all Kenyans, when the country is at PEACE, ordinary citizens are the kings.
They even have power over governments.
Once you slide into war, you become unnecessary baggage and collateral damage! Your voice no longer matters.
As you leisurely join politicians to beat war drums against your neighbors, just understand the end game.
War interrupts normal life. No food. No working. No schools. No families.
Once the war erupts, there will be no Jubilee or Cord supporters.
You will now be known simply as civilians.
Your work is to stand between the military tanks of the two warring parties who by now will not be interested in you but the country's wealth and sharing of power.
Your politicians will leave you to face the warlord's barrels, as they fly out with their families to their investments outside the country to resume their normal lives.
Do we do dialogue as a country when we can, or hell, we are waiting to suffer after pleasing our political gods?
