The Chief of Defence Forces has asked the military to remain neutral amid the rising political temperatures in the country.
Speaking on Saturday during a celebration after a military incursion to pursue al Shabaab militants in Somalia, General Samson Mwathethe told his soldiers to stick to military professionalism.
According to the star, Mwathathe said soldier will be expected to observe KDF values of civil prerogative, loyalty and commitment, patriotism, professionalism and integrity.
"These core values remain and should always be thefundamental drivers of our courage and strength," Mwathethe said..
The political situation in Kenya has created uncertainities after NASA leader Raila Odinga decided to boycott the October 26 poll saying no elections will be held.
