This follows a press address by some of the Opposition leaders in Kisumu, led by area Senator Prof Anyang' Nyong'o.

Addressing the media, Tuesday morning, Nyong'o said Owuoth alias JM was missing since July 31, after he was sent on a comulsory leave.

According to him, the compulsory leave came after he issued a statement, admitting that a secret document that leaked, about 'illegal' KDF deployment to various regions during elections, dubbed "Operation Dumisha Utulivu", was authentic but quoted out of context.

His confirmation came after NASA raised fears of government using the military, to rig, with the document as evidence.

However, KTN News and some local dailies reported that Owuoth dismissed the allegations, and assured that he was safe at work, minutes after Nyong'o's statement, in Kisumu.

The alleged disappearances came after the murder of IEBC ICT Manager, Chris Msando, who was found dead Monday. He went missing Friday July 28, 2017.
