The KEWOPA election and induction took place on Saturday night. Omanga who took to social media on Sunday noted that she would lead women parliamentarians agendas and decisions. This, she said would promote sustanable development.The former Nairobi woman representative aspirant added that she will also ensure growth of women parliamentary democracy, socio-economic growth and development."I have been elected as the vice chairlady of Kenya women parliamentary Association (KEWOPA). I will spearhead Women parliamentarians agendas and decisions to promote sustanable development, I will also ensure advancement of women parliamentary democracy, socio-economic growth and development of women In Kenyan politics," Omanga posted on her Facebook page.
Kirinyaga Women Representative Purity Ngirici was elected as Kewopa chairperson while Kisumu woman rep Roza Buyu got the position of the vice chairperson in the National Assembly.
