A video doing rounds on social media shows Mbita lawmaker Millie Odhaimbo saying that she was ready to be Joho wife.
In the clip, Odhiambo can be seen asking Joho to continue the culture of Islam that allows men to marry up to four wives.
The outspoken was reacting to the recent fracas between Joho and President Uhuru Kenyatta during the launch of various projects.
She was speaking on a tour of ODM leaders in Siaya county.
“The first thing I want to say is this, to those who continue insulting Kenyans, give them to me and I will insult them even worse. Second, the other day you heard Uhuru saying Joho should stop following him around like he (Joho) is his wife. He is not Joho’s wife, “And you Sultan Joho, I want to say this. I looked around in Mombasa and saw many beautiful women. Very hot women. And because you do not have four wives as Islam laws allow you to, if you want to add, add a woman, not Uhuru. Wamama ee, wamama aaa,
“If you cannot do this in Mombasa, me as Millie gesagesa nitajivurutia (I will pull you myself). I am not Uhuru Kenyatta! I am ready to talk to my husband to allow me to be Joho’s companion,” She said amid cheers from the crowd.
