The Bible, which is a collection of books contains amazing facts that you may not be quick to notice when you read it. Some of these facts include;

Sinners Bible

A publishing company in 1631 published a Bible which came to be referred to as the "sinners Bible" with a typo stating ''Thou shalt commit adultery". However, it is said that only nine copies of that Bible are known exist today.

Authors from different occupations

The authors of the Bible were from various occupations with some being farmers, fishermen, pastors, tent makers, prophets, scribes, doctors and poets.

Maher-shalalhash-baz is the longest word in the Bible found in the book of Isaiah 8:1.

John Wycliffe was the first man to translate the entire Bible from Vulgate to English. This did not go very well with him and he was summoned severally by the Catholic Church in England although he was never imprisoned. However, his body was exhumed upon his death by the Catholic Church as a form of punishment.

Psalm 117

This is the shortest chapter in the Bible with only two verses. Coincidentally, it is also the middle chapter of the entire Bible.
