Kisii county Health Minister Sarah Omache has assured residents that all government hospital in the county are operational despite doctors’ strike.
According to Omache, there is no need for patients to fear visiting government hospitals and he assured them that services are being offered normally and appealed to patients to seek medical services in all government hospitals in the county.
Addressing the press on Tuesday in Kisii town, Omache said it will be bad and difficult for patients mostly those suffering from HIV/Aids and tuberculosis for not taking drugs from the government hospitals over the strike.
“We are sorry for the strike but am appealing to patients not to fear visiting government hospitals let them come and I assure them that they will get services,” said Sarah Omache.
“In this county, the health sector is operating and services are being offered positively,” she added.
