The Ministry of Education has been asked to ensure it involves all stakeholders when it comes to making key decisions in the sector.
According to Eldoret Catholic Diocese Apostolic Administrator Bishop Maurice Crowley, this will help minimize wrangles in the education sector.
Speaking in Eldoret on Tuesday, Bishop Crowley pointed out that for the progress of the education system in the country, consultations among stakeholders is paramount.
"The only way any changes being implemented in the education sector can make a positive impact is if all stakeholders are involved from the start," noted Bishop Crowley.
"Each one of us plays a role that contributes to the sector in one way or the other and embracing mutual relationship will reduce fights that may end up hurting the sector," he added.
Bishop Crowley who is also in charge of the Kitale Catholic Diocese recently faulted the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) for not consulting the church before transferring head teachers.
The Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) has also criticized TSC over the mass transfers and threatened to call for national strike.
