The Ministry of Education has named venues in eight regions that will host the regional of the Kenya Music Festival, 2017.
The regional winning sides will face out each other at the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology in July 2017.
According to the Ministry, Lwanya Girls Secondary School will host the festivities in Western Kenya, Babla Diani Secondary School in Kwale County to host Coast region festivities, Maliera Boys High School for Nyanza, Mang’u High School for Central Kenya, Uasin Gishu School for Rift Valley, Kitui High School for the larger Eastern and North Eastern Province Technical Institute will host the festivities for North Eastern region.
The theme of this year’s Festival is: “Enhancing National Unity, Cohesion and Integration through Kenya Music Festival”.
