According to Sifuna, the new syllabus will be operational once trial across all the schools in the country is complete.

“The new system of education will be implemented once trials will be done in all other parts of the country. The government has invested much in education to ensure the new syllabus is successful,” he said.

Sifuna said teachers’ sensitization programs are ongoing in the County to equip all tutors with skills before they will fully embark on taking learners through the new syllabus.

“So far no challenges have been reported, teachers are ongoing well be trained on the new syllabus before they will fully take charge of the education system to help learners understand it well,” he noted.
