A girl aged 17 was on Tuesday morning arraigned before the Kisii court for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old boy.
Appearing before Kisii High Court magistrate Judicaster Nthuku the minor however denied committing the offense and pleaded that he be released on basis that she had a young child.
According to the prosecutor the teen is said to have on diverse dates between 14 May 2018 and 3 June 2018 defiled the boy.
Evidence documented by the prosecution revealed that the accused engaged in unprotected sex with the minor at her house, situated at Igena Itambe Trading centre.
The prosecutor further added that the minor was a student at Igena Itambe Secondary School and purportedly failed to attend his classes for three weeks and during this time; he would visit the 17 year old girl at her house, where she defiled him.
On her defense the accused minor said she have never been caught having sex with the boy and she accused eye witnesses of witchunt.
The minor is said to have been found by his father at the accused house on 3 June 2018 after a neighbour reported to him that he had seen his son leaving the accused house on several occasions.
The court further directed the children’s officer to prepare a report and submit it on 19th June 2018 as the accused took a “not guilty plea”.
