Nairobi senator Johnston Sakaja has said miscommunication and misunderstanding among the NASA principals should be blamed for Bungoma senator Moses Wetagula's ouster as the minority leader.
Sakaja said it was evident the coalition is in a turmoil and has been trying so much to conceal it's imminent death.
"NASA is collapsing no matter how it's leaders try to hide but in no time everything will be in the open,"Sakaja said.
He addressed the press in Nairobi on Wednesday.
Sakaja said the opposition senators could have felt that Wetangula wasn't handling issues to their satisfaction.
However, nominated senator Rose Nyamunga said Wetangula's ousting was to relieve him of his duties in order to serve at the NASA summit.
Nyamunga observed that the senators who supported Wetangula's ejection didn't comprise of ODM only but also from Wiper and ANC.
"It was not an ODM affair as all parties in the coalition were involved," Nyamunga said.
ODM secretary general Ediwn Sifuna said Wetangula's ousting was his punishment for failing the loyalty test on January 30 during the oathing ceremony.
ODM leader Raila Oding will today meet senators from the party to discuss the matter.
Siaya senator James Orengo who replaced Wetangula as the leader of minority in the senate made it clear that he wont resume the position until the NASA principals talk over the matter.
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka had earlier asked Orengo who is his close ally to decline the position for the sake of the coalition.
