Omogusii Unity movement has received a kickback from Orange Democratic Movement Youths in Kisii county as they have distanced themselves from their unity.
According to the youths who met in Kisii county hall today, they were not consulted by the leaders from the area before forming ‘Omogusii Unity’ hence they won’t support them in achieving their endeavors.
The youths led by Simba Dennis said they look forward to joining an alliance that will ensure the youths are catered for instead of joining the unity which members have self-interest.
“We have been keenly looking at their movement and it’s high time to let them know that we are not with them and we will ensure they don’t succeed in any plans that they are having," he added.
Simba called upon the youths not to be lured by small handouts being given by some of the politicians to receive their support.
“The youths of Kisii need to up their game and know that their votes are not for sale and ensure they choose the best leaders come 2017,” he added.
This comes barely after another group of youths distanced themselves from the Omogusii Unity.
