Likoni MP Mishi Mboko has pleaded the Jubilee government to return embattle and deported Canadian based lawyer Miguna Miguna into the country.
Mboko says that Miguna's rights were grossly violated during his second deportation to Dubai last week.
Speaking to journalists in Likoni Town on Sunday, Mboko blasted the police and Immigration official's accusing them of treating Miguna inhumanel.
"The police have embarrassed this country for violently and forcefully deporting Miguna Miguna who is a Kenyan citizen by birth," she said.
Mboko said that it was wrong for the government to detain Miguna at a filthy toilet at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and fail to present him in court as ordered.
"The government action to violently deport Miguna Miguna was shameful and must be condemned by everyone who respects the rule of law and human rights," she said.
Mboko argued that the government should have produced Miguna in court instead of deporting him to Dubai.
The Likoni legislator asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to personally intervene and help Miguna return into the country.
Miguna was re-deported to Dubai on Wednesday last week, days after jetting into the country from Canada where he had earlier been deported.
The Canadian based lawyer was denied entry into the country after he allegedly refused to produce his travel documents to Immigration official's when he landed at the JKIA on Monday last week.
The government declared him undocumented passenger forcing his deportation to Dubai.
Miguna's deportation has elicited mixed reactions with majority politicians and Kenyans condemning the government.
On Thursday last week, High court Judge George Odunga convicted and fined Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS) Fred Matiang'i, Inspector General of Police (IG) Joseph Boinnnet and Immigration Principal Secretary (PS) Gordon Kihalangwa Sh200, 000 each for contempt of court.
The three government official's ignored court order to have Miguna released unconditionally and produced in court.
