Miss World Africa, Evelyn Njambi. [Photo/Mediamax]Miss World Kenya 2017 pageant has been launched. Ashleys Kenya Limited, the official holder of the pageant launched it Tuesday, May 2, at the Two Rivers Mall, Nairobi.
Participants have been invited to register online on the Miss World Kenya website.
"This year being an election year, we are doing an online registration, which is ongoing and we shall have a national audition to be held in Nairobi County on May 27, 2017," read part of Ashleys Kenya Limited.
Ashleys Kenya Limited CEO Terry Mungai has called on more youth to participate noting that the move to go digital will set the pace for the rest of the world to emulate.
The winners will represent the country in the Mr and Miss World Kenya crowns.
The finals had been slated for February 2017 but were later pushed to May.
