Kenya Wildlife Services has reportedly located signals of the Fly 540 aircraft that went missing on Tuesday evening.
Reports from KWS said the signals indicate the light machine is around Kinangop, Aberdares in Nyandarua County.
Kenya Wildlife Services assistant director in charge of Mountain Areas Simon Gitau has confirmed the reports to a local daily.
The Cessna 5Y-CAC C208 lost radar contact at 4 pm Tuesday, search efforts continued late into the night before resuming Wednesday morning at 4 am.
10 occupants were aboard the aircraft which was flying from a Kitale airstrip in Trans-Nzoia to Nairobi.
Families of occupants have been directed to meet at Weston Hotel for more briefs.
