Missing musician found unconsious before dying in hosoital. [Photo| .ebru.co.ke]Steve Kamau, the musician who went missing on Saturday, passed on Monday at Thika Level Five Hospital in Kiambu county. Kamau who was also Nisisi band leader had on Saturday night dropped his colleagues in town after an event they had had in Rongai before he went missing.The late musician was found dumped in Gaitumbi, Kiambu county on Sunday morning.Reports indicate Kamau was found unconscious alongside an unidentified body.The musician was rushed to the nearby dispensary by the area MCA Philip Mwihoti.Kamau was then later transferred to the Thika Level Five Hospital hospital where he took his last breathe. "He dropped us in town and proceeded home but when we called him the following day because we were to perfom in Githurai, we were not able to reach him. We later contacted his wife who told us he didn't get home," one of Kamau's bandmate Juvenalis Amonde is quoted by the Star. According to the families spokesman David Kangethe, Kamau had a deep cut on his head suspected to have been inflicted with an axe.The other body which was taken to City Mortuary was said to have had strangulation marks and a cut on the neck.Kamau's family is expected to file a formal report with police on Tuesday.
