An American missionary priest has suffered a blow in his quest to retain control and management of the multi-billion St. Mary's Mission hospital at the heart of a protracted court battle.
This is after the High court sitting in Nakuru dismissed his application seeking to suspend its judgement which declared a group of catholic nuns as rightful owners of the hospital on September 29.
Justice Sila Munyao declined to grant orders staying execution of the judgment, which ordered for the transfer of the hospital management and control from the priest to the St Mary's Mission hospital company under Assumption Sisters of Nairobi.
The Judge, in his ruling delivered on Tuesday, said the application was faulty.
