Just a day after unveiling the Jubilee manifesto President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have taken their campaigns to Tharaka -Nithi county.

However, as the Head of State  is set to set foot in the region it is reported that pro Jubilee candidates have clashed with their leaders in the area over their roles in Uhuru's visit.

Deputy President William Ruto greets locals.

While Jubilee leaders want others to keep of what they say is their exclusive party’s affair, others led by Governor Samuel Ragwa (Narc Kenya) insist they will attend the President’s meetings.

Ragwa has dismissed claims by Chuka/Igambang’ombe MP Muthomi Njuki that the president will only entertain Jubilee candidates.

He insisted that as the governor of Tharaka-Nithi, he must attend the President’s function and that their party is behind the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta
