Nasa supporters from Kilifi county continue to voice their concerns regarding yesterdays swearing-in ceremony of Raila Odinga though they were happy to finally see their leader hold the Bible after postponing the event that has been eagerly awaited they are however disappointed after some of the leaders skipped the occasion.
Simon Ngowa Malindi resident says as NASA supporters they are disappointed after three main principles failed to attend the swearing-in ceremony raising doubts on their loyalty to NASA leader Raila Odinga who took the oath amidst thousands of supporters who had sacrificed their time to witness the historic moment.
He says though there was a media blackout it never gave room for the principals to boycott the event and Kalonzo Mudavadi and Wetangula must explain to Kenyans why they mocked the event calling on Raila to reconsider appointing Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho as his running mate in 2022 after leading a delegation of coast leaders to attend the ceremony.
Sediments echoed by Paul Nyabera from Kilifi Bunge la Wanaichi who says it was a big joke and disappointment to NASA supporters to see leaders who were depended upon to dodge Baba during injury time and sabotage the process to champion democracy as he lauded the move by coastal leaders who accompanied Raila Odinga in the swearing-in ceremony.
Nyabera says they are firmly behind the leadership of Mombasa governor who has risen to the occasion to defend the rights who his community no matter the intimidations and threats he has encountered calling on local leadership to emulate his spirit in fighting for justice and electoral reforms.
Kenza Odiek another supporter also disappointed noted that Kenyans have realized how other leaders joy rides politically to remain relevant warning its unfortunate that others have acquired titles like principles who are cowards and cannot be trusted in leadership.
