An unidentified middle-aged man on Sunday committed suicide by hanging himself on a tree in the CBD.

The incident occurred along Moi Avenue, Nairobi.

The motive of the suicide was not immediately established since he did not have a suicide note.

According to the Star, business people who operate around the area said the victim is a common figure around Tom Mboya street.
