On Tuesday, President Kenyatta awarded Blogger Robert Alai and chief of communications in statehouse Dennis Itumbi among others a head of State commendation.
This has been seen as a move of rewarding political loyalty by Kenyans.
Notable the two have been championing for President Kenyatta's reelection in the August 8th election and subsequent repeat poll on 26th October.
The list of other members awarded has brought mixed reactions by Kenyans since most of them are purpoted to be from one region.
Notable names in the list include Jackie Maribe, Ben Githae, Evangelist Wairimu Lucy, Kamotho Martin and Njoroge Pauline.
