Former KTN journalist Mohammed Ali has demanded cancellation of ODM nominations in Nyali constituency.
The investigative journalist said that there is a scheme by Mombasa governor Hassan Joho in conjunction with the top brass at ODM party to rig him out.
This came after Moha discovered that his name was missing in the ODM members' register.
"This is not an election. It should be called off immediately. Joho and his brother should keep off ODM election matters," he said.
Ali is contesting for the ODM ticket against Governor Joho's cousin Said Abdhalla alias Saido, and has claimed that the polls were conducted in only three polling stations located in Abdalla's Kongowea stronghold.
He said that the centres were being manned by Joho's point-men and that registers at Kadzandani primary, Mlaleo Primary, Bahwan Primary and Ziwa la Ngombe polling centres were missing.
The four centres are said to be his strongholds.
While talking to journalists at Mlaleo, Moha accused Joho and the Mombasa ODM chairman Mohamed Hatimy of being behind the scheme to influence the vote to favour Abdhalla.
At Mkomani Showground Gate A, Ali said, Hatimy's personal assistant was found acting as a party agent.
"We searched for his name as an agent in the register, but it was missing. We called police officers and he ran away," Ali said.
