A section of Mombasa residents and Kenyans at large have expressed their displeasure after Nyali MP Mohammed Ali pledged his political support for Deputy President William Ruto ahead of 2022 general election.
The two leaders who were once protagonists, met on May 11, where they had a handshake (Moha described it as a military handshake), and several deliberations.
The duo discussed a wide range of issue touching on the people of Nyali especially in the context of community's social progress - education, proper healthcare, employment opportunities and security.
"The DP pledged to support my agenda of service to the people. I equally promised him my unequivocal support in backing the Government's Big Four Agenda and his efforts to bring forth a united Kenya," disclosed the independent MP and a former investigative journalist.
However, a number of Kenyans think Mohammed Ali has chosen a wrong path for political survival after his support for Ruto, as indicated below.

Mohammed i really supported ur agenda when you had signs of national leader .As un investigating journalism you did me proud, a national leader .congratulations. You exploited alot of evils and corrupt leaders, but ur now contaminated and stinking just bcoz of political tactics. I dont support you anymore more. May God raise another hero.

Please Ali, help eradicate drugs in Nyali. They are doing a lot of harm to the young generation- I really feel dissapointed any time I pass through Frere town seeing those "mateja" seriously affected by drugs.

Can Moha read my comment really? If Yes then let me 'open my heart'Woooow! The prados and Range Rovers, the pin stripped suits and expensive meals and titles have magic. Each single day I would wait with bated breath for you to start exposing them, and you surely did! You gave them names, very 'heavy' names and you made us 'hate' them for all social vices...your disguist was our disguist...what changed?

We miss Moha journalist, huyu wa siasa ni fake. Reggae splash and jicho pevu misses you a lot. I remember the tough question to muhoro about Jacob Juma ,"have you questioned Ruto about the murder"..

This is a journo who hit them hard & called them names & unearthed their dirty deeds. Now he is busy dining with them. Infact he is them.
