Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali has started delivering on the promises he made before he was elected. Ali, a former investigative journalist at KTN, donated shoes to students in the constituency as part of his plan to promote education.The MP, popularly known as Moha Jicho Pevu, has partnered with the Kenya Red Cross in the ‘Valisha Mtoto Kiatu’ campaign. Moha who has been very vocal on matters of national interest, has pledged to transform the lives of residents in Nyali. He promised to address different issues including infrastructure, health and security among others. “Today our valisha mtoto kiatu campaign bus parked at Frere Town primary School and Mlaleo primary and special school in Frere Town ward. We distributed shoes to the pupils alongside collecting views from the teachers on how best we can improve our education standards in Nyali. Thank you Kenya Red Cross for your continued partnership in Valisha Mtoto Kiatu campaign,” wrote Moha on a Facebook post Friday.In an interview with the Nairobian, Moha said he is ready to take Jicho Pevu to parliament. The lawmaker affirmed that he will not sit back and watch public officers misuse resources meant for the common mwananchi.
