The MP, who has been a bitter critic of governor Joho for the past years has now decided to forget his political differences and enmity with the governor, after saying he is now ready and willing to work with any politician in the region.

While reaching the flood victims with foods in his constituency on Sunday, Ali was asked if he was willing to work with Hassan Joho, which he responded by saying "time for politics is over" and he is ready to deliver for his people.

“I am ready to work with anyone. We will work with anybody so long as the agenda revolves around discussing issues affecting residents. We therefore welcome everyone to come on board so that together we can transform lives of our people," said the MP

Mohammed Ali has also asked other leaders to embrace the famous 'handshake' between the opposition leader, Raila Odinga and His Excellency the President, to preach peace in the region.

"We as leaders must get ready to preach peace, reconciliation and forgiveness in our regions so that together we can move forward as a country. I am ready to be an ambassador of peace in my constituency,” added the MP.
