Mr Ali spoke to Radio Maisha on Tuesday morning where he said he remains ready to work with anyone just for the benefit of the people.
"My stand for justice remains and I will support a presidential candidate who stands for justice. That candidate for me is Raila Odinga and I will seek for votes in his favor not only in Nyali but in the country as a whole," said Mr Ali.
The remarks came at a time he faced critics from the opposition for having received the president in Nyali on Monday.
He declined having defected to Jubilee party and revealed that he secured 600 jobs for the youth and ensured that a clean up program for Kongowea market is in place.
