Despite their internal rivalry, Senator Gideon Moi sort special help from FDP William Ruto during a Church service on Sunday at Kabartonjo in Baringo.
A rare video circulating online shows Gideon taking minutes to locate a Bible verse and a suspecting DP offers to help the Baringo senator.
The two had accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta to the vast Baringo County to popularize Uhuru’s candidature.
Although the two are supporting Uhuru’s reelection, Moi, who chairs independent Party KANU has been accusing the DP of belittling him and has often warned that he will be forced to pull out.
While Kenyatta is playing neutral on Baringo senatorial seat, DP Ruto supports openly Simon Chelugui, who is a Jubilee candidate.
In what is seen as a supremacy war between the two, both have announced their intentions to run for presidency in 2022 despite hailing from the same region.
More often than note, the two politicians exchange in public gatherings with the most recent being during the burial of Mark Too.
